Homemade Roasted Potatoes
You will need for a hungry bunch of 4 or 5
- around 1 KG of Potatoes (uncooked, unpeeled)
- Salt & Pepper
- Hot Paprika Powder
- Chilli Flakes
- Olive Oil
- Baking Pan
This is one of the simplest recipes in the world and so far everyone who tasted my super simple potatoes went crazy about them 🙂 Ok, enough said about myself, hahaha.
Well OK so I usually do those potatoes when we have too much stuff on the BBQ and you need some backup side dishes.
For the potatoes I usually use regular salad potatoes. Per person I calculate around 2-3 potatoes, minus the people who are on a low carb diet.
So I give the potatoes a gentle wash and just cut them into smaller quarters/wedges. I dont peel them, and once you eat them you know why (because of the lovely crunch)
Put some baking paper on a baking pan and load it with the sliced potatoes. Add olive oil, fresh rosemary (dried one also OK), salt & pepper, hot paprika and some chilli flakes. Toss & Turn.
once that is done put the potatoes into the oven on “grill” , about 180 to 200 C° and leave in the oven 20-25 mins. Make sure they don’t get too much roasted and mix them upside down once in a while.
